HARRISBURG – Prices at the pump are down again for the 13th straight week, but the streak might be coming to an end soon.
Gasbuddy.com reported Monday state gasoline prices fell 7.4 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.91 per gallon.
The national average price of gas fell 7.6 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $3.67 per gallon. The national average price of diesel fell 5.5 cents in the last week and is now $5.01 per gallon.
Even though average prices at the pump are still going down, Gasbuddy says there are still some parts of the country seeing prices increase, including parts of the east coast. Gasbuddy says the current oil supply is now in a ‘very fragile time’ and could increase in the weeks ahead.
