HARRISBURG – It’s getting a little less painful at the pump. Gasbuddy reported Monday state gasoline prices are down 10.1 cents per gallon in the last week, the fourth straight week prices have dropped. Gasbuddy says in the last four weeks, average gas prices are down nearly 40 cents, with Americans shelling out $140 million less on gasoline every day than a month ago.
Gasbuddy says state gas prices now average $4.78 per gallon, while national gas prices fell 12.8 cents per gallon in the last week and average $4.66 per gallon. Diesel prices have also declined 8.5 cents per gallon.
Gasbuddy says this trend may continue a fifth week as long as oil prices remain cooperative.
