MILTON –The popular performing group Re-Creation is asking for the public’s help on Monday in Milton, where they will be performing a free concert. Jay Muller is director and choreographer of Re-Creation USA and says they are having a free public concert on Monday at Milton High School.
Muller said, “We are going to videotape the concert and we create DVD’s. When we make these DVD’s, we give them to every vet’s hospital in the country. That way, when we go and do the show live and the guys like it so much, then when we leave, they’ve got something tangible to watch. They can watch it again. They can see the same exact kids that came to their facility.”
Muller said the DVD’s can make a real impact for veterans at the hospital, “A very strong vet came up to me and he said I just want to thank you for coming. We get bad news all the time. It’s dark and lonely in here. It’s isolated and you made me feel so great tonight. And, then he said, when can I see the show again and I said we are going to be making a DVD and sending it to you.”
The concert will be held at Milton High School Monday night with doors opening at 6:30 and music beginning at 7. Muller said they are hoping for a large and enthusiastic crowd for the concert taping. (Ali Stevens)
