DANVILLE – Four people were arrested early Thursday morning after a police pursuit with Danville and Point Township police. The incident started around 5 a.m. when a Danville police officer tried to pull over a vehicle without it’s lights on along Route 11.
The car sped away and the officer followed the vehicle. After a brief chase, the car pulled into a restaurant parking lot in Point Township and the four occupants in the vehicle fled on foot. The four suspects were captured within the hour and taken to the Danville police department.
An 18-year-old and 15-year-old from Danville will be cited for disorderly conduct. A 17-year-old male driver from the Selinsgrove area faces fleeing and eluding charges in juvenile court. And a 15-year-old from Hummels Wharf will be charged with receiving stolen property, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and conspiracy.
