Founder of Kreamer Feed has died

kreamerNORTHUMBERLAND — The founder of Kreamer Feed has died… George “Bill” Robinson died on Monday, he was 91. He founded the business, which has thrived and grown in The Valley for more than 65-years.

Robinson graduated from the New York Institute of Agriculture in March of 1943 before entering the US Air Force.  He then worked in New York for a time, but returned to Pennsylvania in 1947 to work with his brother John.  The brothers purchased a building in Kreamer, which is now part of the Wood-Mode complex. They then began growing the Kreamer Feed business.

The Kreamer Feed Mill we know today was built along Route 522 near Kreamer in 1972.  The company remains there, selling conventional and organic feed across the country.  They also have several chicken farms for poultry and egg sales.  Funeral arrangements for George ‘Bill’ Robinson will be announced soon.  (Ali Stevens)
