Former Geisinger executive wants to be commissioner

montourDANVILLE – A former executive at Geisinger Medical Center is running for Montour County Commissioner.  The Press Enterprise reports 57-year-old Ken Holdren of Valley Township is seeking the Republican nomination.

 

Holdren worked for Geisinger for 30-years, serving six years as chief administrative officer at Geisinger Clinic and 14 as vice president of financial reporting and planning for Geisinger System Services.  Holdren has also been a director for the Danville Business Alliance, Danville Community Foundation and the Danville Area Community Center.

 

He grew up in New Berlin and graduated from Mifflinburg Area High School and Lycoming College.  Holdren lives in Valley Township with his wife and they have three grown children.  (Ali Stevens)
