UNDATED – Flood waters have inundated a short section of a highway.
Route 405 is flooded between Milton and the Susquehanna Trail intersection. PennDOT says some other roads are closed as well, including Shakespeare Avenue at Milton, Hospital Drive at Lewisburg, Middle Creek Road in Snyder County, and River Road near New Columbia
The Susquehanna River crested yesterday, or will crest today, at all points along both branches. The National Weather Service river forecasts indicate the West Branch topped out just below flood stage at Lewisburg on Wednesday. Crests below flood stage are expected this morning at Sunbury and Danville.
