MILTON – A store in downtown Milton, Broadway News, sustained heavy damage due to a fire Monday evening. The newsstand, located at 83 Broadway, was reported to be on fire by a police officer around 6:20pm.
Eight volunteer fire companies were dispatched including Milton, Turbot Township, and Northumberland, and Lewisburg fire department also assisted. It was a two-alarm fire that had fire crews on the scene for three hours.
