Fire Damages Home on the Isle of Que

SELINSGROVE — Fire damaged a home on the Isle of Que in Selinsgrove on Tuesday afternoon.  Two women inside the home got out safely after the fire started in the kitchen at 15 Third Street.  Dauntless Hook & Ladder Co. Deputy Fire Chief Colin Rice told the Daily Item newspaper the fire was accidental.  No injuries were reported.  The residents were displaced by the fire, which left the rear of the home with heavy smoke and water damage.
