COAL TOWNSHIP – A garage was heavily damaged by fire on New Year’s Eve. The fire started at 7:47 p.m. at 1506 West Montgomery Street.
The garage fire was fully involved when firefighters arrived on the scene. Multiple fire companies responded and were on the scene for about two hours putting out the fire. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is not yet known.
