COAL TWP — Volunteers were able to put out a fire at a Northumberland County apartment complex. According to Northumberland County Communications, the fire at the Coal Township High Rise at 101 North Ash Street was reported around 2:00p.m.
The fire was knocked down by 2:30p.m. No residents of the high occupancy building were said to be injured. No word on what caused the fire. (Codi Jade)
