Feudale out as senior judge

b-feudale-152x220SUNBURY — A former Northumberland County judge has been stripped of his senior judge status. The Daily Item reports Barry Feudale was notified November 12 that his senior status had been revoked by Pennsylvania Supreme Court Chief Justice Thomas Saylor.

In a letter to Feudale, Saylor said the state Supreme Court had concerns about Feudale’s judicial objectivity citing a close relationship with a former member of the Attorney General’s office and communications with Philadelphia Inquirer reporters in 2013.

Attorney General Kathleen Kane backed Feudale’s removal as supervisor of state grand jury investigations in 2013.
