UPDATE: EXCELSIOR – A Shamokin man was killed in a crash on Route 901 early Wednesday morning. Northumberland County coroner James Kelley said 29-year-old Chris Wolfe died of blunt force trauma as a result of the crash between Ranshaw and Excelsior
According to reports, Wolfe’s pickup truck left the road, struck several trees and rolled onto its roof shortly after 4:30 a.m. Route 901 was closed until 7:15 a.m. as crews removed the wreckage. (Jennifer Wakeman)
EXCELSIOR — A fatal accident is reported in Mount Carmel Township this morning. The accident took place on Route 901 shortly after 4:30 a.m. Police say Route 901 is closed between Route 61 and Boylins Road. The coroner was called to the scene of the crash.
