COAL TOWNSHIP – Over two dozen volunteer fire crews are at the scene of a two-alarm fire in Coal Township and explosions have been reported. Northumberland County Communications says the fire was first reported just before 10 a.m. in the 1600 block of West Arch Street.
County communications says the fire spread to three structures and explosions were reported, but its unknown what caused them. No injuries have been reported and the fire is under control.
