LEWISBURG – Evangelical Community Hospital’s second Ambassador Challenge is in the books, with over $181,000 raised for the Evangelical Care Fund. The hospital announced the total in a news release Tuesday.
This year’s ambassadors were Michael Briskey of Selinsgrove, Chad Evans of 94KX, and Sabra Karr of Lewisburg. The hospital says Karr was named Ambassador of the Year after raising over $44,000. Each ambassador was presented a crystal award by Evangelical President and CEO Kendra Aucker at a celebration appreciation event.
In addition to monies raised by the ambassadors, the hospital says over $14,000 was raised by an online auction.
The Evangelical Care Fund provides a foundation of financial support for Community Health and Wellness screenings, events and education, The Family Place, Mobile Health of Evangelical, and more.
