LEWISBURG – Evangelical Community Hospital is trying to help busy women get some health care they might otherwise skip. The hospital says on June 8, 21 and 24, they’ll be at The Miller Center offering women some free screenings, exams, and some low cost tests. Why, they say women in the US have the highest rates of skipping needed healthcare because of cost, and difficulty affording their healthcare.
The hospital says the screenings are ideal for all women who are looking to make health a focus and is especially beneficial to those who may have no insurance, are underinsured, or who carry a high deductible.
Blood pressure, body composition, skin screen, pelvic exam, breast exam, pap tests, HPV, blood work and other tests. There is a fee for some of the tests. Appointments are required, call Evangelical Community Health and Wellness at 570-768-3200. More information at evanhospital.com.
