ELYSBURG – An emergency preparedness exercise will take place this week in Northumberland County. Knoebel’s Amusement Resort will host the two-day exercise put on by the East Central Task Force.
The exercise is designed to test regional response to complex terrorist attack. Hundreds of responders will be engaged in the simulated response and emergency equipment will be traveling through the area. Residents should be aware that while it may appear real at times, this is a simulated exercise.
Activities will take place from noon on March 31 through noon April 1 in and around Knoebel’s Amusement Resort. (Tony Reid)
