SHAMOKIN DAM – Shamokin Dam police have uncovered a drug distribution operation. Police chief Tim Bremigen tells us a search warrant was executed at a home on North Old Trail Thursday afternoon.
The search revealed that illegal drugs were being packaged and distributed from the residence. Police seized marijuana, pills, scales, packaging material and cash. The investigation is ongoing and police expect to file charges soon.
Bremigen says there is no threat to the community at this time and residents are encouraged to report any suspected drug activity to the police department.
