WATSONTOWN— Watsontown police have arrested 35-year-old Mark Gross for assault, possession of drug paraphernalia, harassment and disorderly conduct. This comes from a January 8 incident at 221 and 223 E 7th Street in Watsontown. Gross allegedly punched his girlfriend in the face, causing cuts and bleeding on her lips. Cross then yelled and threatened his neighbor when the victim sought refuge at his residence.
Multiple items of drug paraphernalia were also found at Gross’s house. He was arraigned before on-call senior District Judge Michael Mychak. He was sent to Snyder County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for January 13 in Milton. (Matt Catrillo)
