MILLHEIM – The driver of a horse and buggy was killed in a crash on Route 192 in Centre County on Friday afternoon. State police say Samuel Speicher of Millheim was traveling west on Route 192 and was stopped to turn left onto Old Pike Road.
The horse bucked and pulled the buggy into the eastbound lane, into the path of an SUV driven by Paul Robson of Rebersburg. Robson couldn’t avoid hitting the buggy and Speicher was thrown to the ground. He was taken to Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, where he was pronounced dead. Robson was not injured.
