SUNBURY — An animal was shot and killed in Northumberland County Tuesday night. There is not much information out about the incident but what we do know is that a Golden Retriever was shot to death outside of Sunbury.

The dog named Denver was a rescue who recently got a new home on a farm outside of Sunbury. The Furry Friends Animal Clinic posted about the incident on their Facebook page.
