ORANGEVILLE – A dog and cat were killed in a fire in Orangeville on Monday morning. The fire was reported around 11:30 a.m. at 62 Gass Road. It took crews about 15 minutes to bring the fire under control.
The Press Enterprise reports flames broke out when a pile of wood stacked too close to a wood burning stove spontaneously combusted. One room of the home was damaged and smoke damage was reported throughout the home. No injuries were reported. (Ali Stevens)
