SUNBURY – There are only a few more weeks to enjoy Lake Augusta along the Susquehanna River near Sunbury. Shikellamy State Park officials tell us marina season officially ends October 2.
Boat owners with boats moored at the marina must have them removed from their slip before that day. Park staff will begin removing the marina docks on Monday October 3 to prepare for the annual deflation and inspection of the Fabridam. The dam will be deflated gradually over a period of about two weeks starting on or around Columbus Day.
