MONTOURSVILLE – Two Northumberland bridge projects will detour drivers this week.
On Wednesday, August 31, Stitzer Road in Upper Mahanoy Township will be closed as crews apply an epoxy overlay on a bridge deck. The road will be closed for one day, with weather permitting. A detour will be in place using Cemetery Road, Tannebaum Road, Valley Road, Mill Road, Ridge Road, and Vista Road.
On Thursday, September 1, Badmans Hill Road between Route 61 in Ralpho Township and Irish Valley Road in Shamokin Township will be closed. A detour will be in place using Irish Valley Road during the one day closure. (Alex Reichenbach)
