MONTOURSVILLE— Time to get some roadwork started on Interstate 80 in The Valley, including one day of day work, and a week of night work.
Work on a $30 million project resumes Monday, May 7 on Interstate 80 in Montour County. PennDOT says starting Monday the right driving lane on I-80 eastbound will be closed from 6 am to 8 am at mile 224, which is the Danville exit.
Tuesday they say the contractor will work at mile 224 from 7 pm to 9 am each night until Friday morning. This will cause alternating lane closures so the contractor can replace bridge deck joints on the I-80 eastbound bridge spanning Route 54. They say motorists should expect delays on I-80 eastbound at the Danville exit as well as the on and off-ramps at the exit.
