Danville SPCA will reopen this weekend

SPCADANVILLE – The Danville SPCA will reopen this weekend after being shutdown for about a month.  The SPCA closed March 12 after an outbreak of Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease at the Philadelphia SPCA, where dogs from the Danville center are sent for veterinary care.

The Danville site was cleaned as a precaution to prevent the spread of the disease.  The SPCA will be open for adoptions on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and adoption fees have been lowered to $20 for both days.  (Ali Stevens)
