DANVILLE – A Valley school district is shifting to remote learning for the rest of the week due to COVID concerns. Danville Area School District Superintendent Dr. Ricki Boyle announced Tuesday the district will conduct virtual learning starting Wednesday with a tentative return date of next Tuesday. She says all extracurricular activities and athletic practices and events will be rescheduled.
Dr. Boyle says next Monday is a professional development day and no student classes. During this time, she says K-5 students are expected to follow the posted schedule in the teacher’s Google Classroom and attend scheduled Google Meets. Dr. Boyle says grades 6 – 12 students are expected to follow their normal schedule by attending Google Meets and accessing Google Classroom.
