LEWISBURG – A Danville man is free on $25,000 bail after making threats toward Bucknell University’s president and showing up near Dr. John Bravman’s campus home.
Court documents say charged is 55-year-old Raymond Kacyon Jr., police say Kacyon first sent text messages to other individuals stating he was going to President John Bravman’s house ‘ to personally hold him responsible’ for ‘(expletive) up so many people in life.’ He also stated Bravman ‘should seek hiding.’
According to court documents, Kacyon traveled from his Danville home to Bravman’s on-campus home, exited his car and acted erratically while attempting to make his way to the door. Bucknell Public Safety then stopped Kacyon but he resisted arrest to a point he had to be medically sedated. Bucknell officer say Kacyon was then taken to Geisinger for safety.
Kacyon is charged with terroristic threats, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and other charges.
