MILTON – Dr. Kevin Singer, Executive Director of CSIU has received a national award. The CSIU said he is being been honored with the 2017 Educational Excellence in Leadership Award for his exceptional leadership skills and commitment to excellence.
The award is given out annually by the Education Research and Development Institute to superintendents across the country whose contributions to their districts have profoundly shaped the education system.
Dr. Paul Dulle, CEO of the institute said of Dr. Singer “(He) is a deeply committed and caring educator, contributing skills and boundless energies to critical issues in educational leadership, technology, improved achievement, community partnerships and more.”
As a recipient of the award, Dr. Singer has chosen to direct the $5,000 monetary award to the Central Susquehanna LPN Career Center to be used for student and graduate scholarships. (Christopher Elio)
