WATSONTOWN — Several volunteer fire crews from three counties were called to a two-alarm house fire near Watsontown. The blaze broke out at around 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning in a home at 348 Clemens Road in Delaware Township, Northumberland County.
CSR 9-1-1 says the Warrior Run, Milton, Turbot Township, Lewisburg, and four Lycoming County fire companies were in on the fire fight or a tanker shuttle.
During the firefight, reports say firefighters were ordered to evacuate the house as the roof was in danger of collapsing.
Heavy smoke and explosions were also reported upon crews’ first arrival.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
