SHAMOKIN – A couple from Shamokin is wanted for a residential burglary. The News Item reports police are looking for 44-year-old Hito Romero and 34-year-old Megan Holohan. The couple is accused of using a fire escape to get into a window of an apartment on South Fifth Street and then stealing electronics and household items valued at $2,000.
They are wanted on charges including felony burglary, theft, criminal trespass and conspiracy for the incident in mid-April. Witnesses told police they were approached by Romero and Holohan offering to sell electronics and other items. Anyone with information on their whereabouts are asked to call Shamokin police.
