LITTLE MAHANOY TOWNSHIP — The News Item reports a Little Mahanoy Township man already facing numerous criminal offenses in separate incidents over the past 14 months is once again facing charges.

State Police say 35-year-old Adam Shingara kicked and attempted to punch Trooper Andrew Fritz during a traffic stop on Upper Road, West Cameron Township on Dec. 29, according to the affidavit.

The trooper used a stun gun to control Adam Shingara until backup arrived.

He was arraigned and bail was set at $100,000.

Erica Shingara was arraigned that same day and bail was set at $50,000. They were both already facing burglary and other charges for other incidents.
