SUNBURY — The cause of death of a fatal fire victim is still “pending investigation.” Northumberland County Coroner James Kelley said an autopsy was done Tuesday on 32-year-old Hernan Feliciano. Following the autopsy, Kelley says more testing is needed.
Kelley says the coroner’s office will await the results of toxicology and other testing and the receipt of his premortem medical records before making a final ruling on his death. It could take an estimated time of 15 weeks. Feliciano died in Saturday’s fire at Scott Tower in Sunbury. The fire started in Feliciano’s second floor apartment.
Funeral services for Feliciano are set for Thursday at the River of Life Assembly of God Church on Second Street in Sunbury. Friends will be received starting at 11:00a.m. with a celebration of life at 1:00p.m. (Codi Jade)
