SUNBURY — It was a stab wound to the thigh that killed a Sunbury man. Northumberland County Coroner James Kelley says following an autopsy Thursday, it was determined that a “stab wound to the right thigh” killed Robert Blake. He says the sharp force injury severed Blake’s femoral artery and femoral vein. He called the manner of death a “homicide.”
According to police, Blake was stabbed by his girlfriend’s son Edgar Gearhart early Wednesday morning. Amy Gearhart was also stabbed. She was treated and released from the hospital. (Codi Jade)
