LEWISBURG — A contractor, who admitted stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars from investors, will spend nearly two years in jail. Ted Cresswell, who kept a quarter-million-dollars from clients, got an 11 to 23 month jail term Friday.
In Union County court, a judge ordered Cresswell to repay some of the money. The defendant pleaded guilt to fraud and deceptive business practices. He was taken to jail, in handcuffs, after the sentencing Friday.
