CLARKSTOWN – A Columbia County man is dead, following a crash in Lycoming County on Monday. Police say 71-year-old Charles Chapin of the Orangeville area was killed in the crash on Route 442, near the Columbia/Lycoming County line.
Chapin was traveling west on Route 442 around 9 a.m. when his vehicle went off the road and struck a guardrail, a utility pole and an embankment. Chapin was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash by the Lycoming County Coroner. (Ali Stevens)
