SUNBURY – A Columbia County judge will hear the case against Northumberland County’s prothonotary. Richard Cashman will preside over Justin Dunkelberger’s preliminary hearing April 1. District Judge Ben Apfelbaum recused himself from the case last week.
According to court documents, Dunkelberger’s hearing, which was scheduled for this morning, was cancelled. The state attorney general has charged Dunkelberger with three felony counts of theft related to the Phil Lockcuff Memorial Scholarship Fund.
