SUNBURY — Lackawanna College’s Sunbury Center is inviting students and adults of all ages to its free College Readiness Summer Camp this month. Enrollment specialist Amy Lopez said, “There are so many people who don’t know how college works, starting from application to time management and taking notes.”
Morning sessions are July 14–16, and evening sessions are July 21–23. She says the camp is designed to help anyone—whether fresh out of high school or returning to school later in life—get comfortable with the college process.
She says participants will learn about applications, financial aid, class management, and more. For details, visit lackawanna.edu or email sunbury@lackawanna.edu. Organizers say it’s all about building confidence and support.
Lackawanna College recently merged with Peirce College in Philadelphia. They say the merger means they can now start offering master’s degrees through Lackawanna College.
