Child safety seat inspections start today across the Valley

SUNBURY – State police barracks around the Valley will be conducting child safety seat inspections over the next week.

 

The first set of inspections begins Monday, November 19 by Selinsgrove state police. Troopers will hold the inspections from 3-7 p.m. at Hummels Wharf Fire Department.

 

Milton state police will conduct its inspections Tuesday from 2-6 p.m. at the Walmart at 120 AJK Boulevard in Lewisburg. Stonington state police will have its inspections next Tuesday, November 27 from 2-6 p.m. at its barracks, located at 2465 State Route 61.

 

Troopers are holding their child safety seat inspections in conjunction with the NHTSA’s “Click It or Ticket” campaign. Troopers who are certified as Child Passenger Safety Seat Technicians will be present at each event. No appointment is necessary.
