SELINSGROVE—Most child safety seats are not properly installed…that’s the premise behind two child safety seat checks coming up. State Police are conducting the checks in Lewisburg and Hummels Wharf this week.
In conjunction with National Child Passenger Safety Week, troopers certified as Child Passenger Safety Seat Technicians will instruct parents on the proper car seat installation and other child safety measures.
Troopers say Wednesday, they’ll be at the Lewisburg Walmart from 8 am until 2 pm, and this Saturday, at the Hummels Wharf Fire Department from 9 am until 3 pm. No appointments are needed; contact the Milton State Police for more information.
