MIDDLEBURG – A Middleburg man has been charged for his involvement in a meth lab that was uncovered in Middleburg in July. Snyder County District Attorney Mike Piecuch says 23-year-old Charles Hanson was arraigned on charges including possession with intent to manufacture methamphetamine, operating a meth lab and causing or risking a catastrophe.
The meth lab was found at 409 Center Street in Middleburg on July 6. Piecuch said meth labs pose serious dangers to communities, not only from the operation’s end product, but from the explosive nature of the operation itself. Hanson was sent to prison on $100,000 cash bail. The investigation is continuing and further arrests are anticipated. (Ali Stevens)
