WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Biden Impeachment Inquiry is simply a ‘revenge tour’ for former president Trump and the GOP in Washington.
That’s was the response from the White House this week, according to CBS’ Linda Kenyon, who join WKOK’s On The Mark Thursday, “It is Donald Trump behind the scenes, directing the house Republicans, most especially (House Speaker) Kevin McCarthy, to get back at Joe Biden, because Democrats impeached Trump not once, but twice.”
Kenyon says the White House claims the GOP have ‘absolutely no evidence’ and will find no evidence of any wrongdoing by Biden.
Kenyon added sources have told her Biden’s role in his son Hunter’s business meetings were ‘cordial,’ “His participation amounted to, ‘Hi son, how are you?’ and ‘Hello, Dad, I’m going to put you on the speaker phone, I am meeting with some of my business associates right now, say hi to my dad.’ Keep in mind, Hunter Biden is facing criminal charges.”
Kenyon also says the reason McCarthy didn’t hold a floor vote for the impeachment inquiry is he likely wouldn’t have had enough votes, “There are some Republicans who won their seats in districts that were won by President Biden. So by having these Republicans voting now against President Biden, it would put them in a very uncomfortable spot.”
Kenyon says the GOP is also looking into the Biden family obtaining several million dollars from China, but if those dealings didn’t occur while he was president, it will be hard to prove.
