HARRISBURG — Women who are veterans in PA are about to get a big thank you. State Sen. Lynda Schlegel Culver is inviting women veterans from across Pennsylvania to a special ceremony honoring their service at noon Tuesday, June 10, at the state Capitol. The event recognizes women who served in the U.S. Armed Forces from World War II through today. Registration is open until May 9.
This is the second year for the ceremony, held in observance of Women Veterans Day in Pennsylvania on June 12. A virtual display of veterans’ stories will launch June 9. More details and registration are available at senatorpennycuick.com.
