Cadaver dogs at Barbara Miller’s former Sunbury home

SUNBURY – The search continues for Barbara Miller of Sunbury but there’s finally a clear ending in sight. The Daily Item reports Sunbury Police Chief Tim Miller, Cpl. Travis Bremigen, Sunbury officer Brad Slack, and members of Northeast Search and Rescue of Stroudsburg, arrived at Miller’s former Sunbury home about 11 a.m. Thursday.

Two cadaver dogs then entered the Penn Street home. Chief Miller said he couldn’t comment on the progress, but considers what they are finding as ‘significant.’  Chief Miller told the paper the investigation is coming to an end, saying searchers “can see a light at the end of the tunnel.” (Matt Catrillo)
