LEWISBURG — There is a new executive director for the Buffalo Valley Recreation Authority. Stacey Sommerfield is no stranger to the area, most recently serving as the assistant director of service learning at Bucknell University.
Sommerfield will take over as executive director of BVRA after current executive director Katie Davis announced she would be resigning in March. Starting March 3, Sommerfield will oversee all parks and recreation operations at BVRA including management, personnel, finance and public relations and records. (Sara Bartlett)
