WEST CHILLILSQUAQUE TOWNSHIP, NORTHUMBERLAND COUNTY – A portion of Route 405 will be closed for the next two months for reconstruction following the opening of CSVT.
PennDOT says Route 405 will be closed between Housels Run road in West Chillisquaque Township and Ridge Road in Point Township in Northumberland County. Work will start Monday as crews will reconfigure Route 405 near the intersection with the former Route 147.
A detour using Ridge Road, Route 147, Route 45 and Route 405 will be in place. PennDOT expects work to be completed by September.
