JACKSON TWP – Police are searching for two men after a burglary was reported in Northumberland County. A man returned to his Jackson Townhip home to find a dark colored Ford Ranger pick-up truck parked in his driveway August 26. Two males came walking up to the truck from behind his house. They stated they were looking for someone and left.
After further investigation, the victim noticed his rear door had been kicked open and his house burglarized. Approximatley $400 cash had been taken. The pair feld north on Route 225.
Both men are said to be in their 20-30s. One male is described as five foot eight to five foot ten inches tall, slim build, brown hair, and brown beard. The investigation is on-going. Anyone with information is asked to call Stonington state police at 570-286-5601. (Alex Reichenbach)
