LEWISBURG – Buffalo Valley Recreational Authority held their first capital campaign gala Thursday. Stacey Sommerfield, BVRA’s executive director tells WKOK the event was a success.
120 people attended the event at The Cellars at Brookpark Farm. They enjoyed dinner from Ard’s, wine from Shade Mountain Winery and beer from Rusty Rail Brewing as well as dancing and a silent auction.
Sommerfield says the event raised $4,500 for the Lewisburg Community Pool. In all, the capital campaign celebrating 55 years of the pool has already raised $16,000. (Jennifer Wakeman)
