BLOOMSBURG – A discussion on the Pennsylvania budget for 2016-17 will take place Friday in Montour County. The governmental affairs committee of the Columbia Montour Chamber of Commerce and the Columbia Montour Visitors Bureau is hosting the budget discussion over breakfast at the Pine Barn in Danville at 8 a.m.
Jennifer Reis, manager of government affairs with the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry will provide an overview of the budget proposal and highlight issues impacting businesses. State Representatives Kurt Masser (R-107th, Elysburg) and David Millard (R-109th, Berwick) will provide updates on the negotiations and attendees can ask questions.
