LEWISBURG – New spectator policies will be in effect starting Monday at all Bucknell athletic home events amid the ongoing rapid COVID surge.
Bucknell announced Wednesday all spectators 12 years and over must show either a proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test result taken no earlier than two days prior to the event day. The university says proof of vaccination or negative test result will be checked before entry to Sojka Pavilion.
In addition, Bucknell is reducing spectator capacity and limiting the number of attendees at upcoming athletic events starting Monday as well.
The university says masks must be worn at all times and no concessions will be sold during games.
Also, Bucknell says there will be reduced capacity in all fitness and recreation spaces withing the Kenneth Langone Athletics and Recreation Center. Reservations are recommended for students, staff, and faculty wishing to use the facility.
